ABOUT COACH MAJORS
Coach Majors competed in Football and Track and Field at Canyon Springs High School in Moreno Valley, CA. He was a 3 time letter winner, 2 time league champion, and CIF finalist in the Long Jump. Coach Majors went on to play college football at Utah State University and Southern Utah University. While at SUU Coach Majors had the opportunity to compete in track and field, competing in the 60m, 100m, 200m, 4x100, long jump, and triple jump. Coach Majors still holds the Indoor long jump record and sits in 2nd place all time outdoor at SUU. In his lone season in track and field Coach Majors helped SUU win both Indoor and Outdoor League Championships. After the indoor season he was named SUU Athlete of the Year. During his time competing in track and field he realized how much fun track was, not only in personal satisfaction competing against yourself and your personal best, but also the fun of pushing yourself to your limits with some of your best friends. After moving his family to Brigham City and having his oldest son compete in Track and Field, it was disappointing finding that there was not a USATF certified club in the Box Elder or Weber counties. With so much talent in these areas Coach Majors wants to bring the talent out and show Northern Utah is more than just the Salt Lake Valley and Utah County. Coach Majors has 11 years of coaching experience from college to the youth level, helping to produce all conference and all region performers. He is hoping to continue to inspire youth to push their limits and strive for greatness.
